We begin our exciting tour early in the morning, picking you up from your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. Once the entire group is assembled, we embark on a comfortable 3-hour journey in tourist transportation to the picturesque town of Santa Lucía.

Along the way, we make a stop in Cusipata to enjoy a delicious breakfast that will give us the necessary energy for the rest of the day. We continue our journey to Santa Lucía and then take a detour that leads us to Punta Carretera, a unique and scenic spot. Here, we take about 10 minutes to make the final preparations before starting our hike to Waqrapukara.

The hike to Waqrapukara is an enriching experience that lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Along a trail of about 2.5 kilometers, we ascend gradually while enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds us. Once we reach Waqrapukara, our guide will immerse us in the history and importance of this fascinating archaeological complex. Then, you’ll have free time to explore the site at your own pace, take photos, and absorb the unique atmosphere.

After finishing our visit to Waqrapukara, we indulge in a tasty box lunch to recharge our energy. Then, we begin the return journey along the same path until we reach Punta Carretera, where our transportation awaits to take us back to Cusco. We estimate arriving in Cusco around 6:00 p.m.
