We will pick you up in the morning from your hotel in downtown Cusco to begin our adventure to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Our first stop will be Chinchero, where we will visit a local community to learn about the Textile Interpretation Center. We will also take a guided tour of the Moray Archaeological Site, considered the Inca Agricultural Laboratory. Afterwards, we will pass through the town of Maras and visit the Salt Mines.
Next, we will head to the town of Urubamba, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch featuring delicious Peruvian cuisine.
At noon, we will continue our journey to our restaurant in Urubamba. We will take the time to enjoy a delicious and nutritious novo Andean buffet lunch, featuring exquisite Cusco gastronomy.
Continuing our tour, we will visit the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site, which served as a tambo or resting place during the Inca period. It is also the starting point to reach the Machu Picchu Sanctuary. We will explore its most important stone structures, such as the large stone terraces, the Temple of the Sun, and the Princess Baths fountain from that era.
As we return to Cusco, we will head to the town of Pisac. Upon arrival, we will ascend to the Pisac Archaeological Site, which is built on top of a mountain.
After visiting the archaeological site, we will explore the picturesque handicraft market in Pisac. Local artisans are skilled in working with minerals, and we will have the opportunity to make some purchases.
We will conclude the excursion by returning to the city of Cusco, and the tour will end in San Francisco Square around 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. approximately.
