We will pick you up from your hotel in downtown Cusco starting at 08:30 AM. We’ll travel in a tourist vehicle towards the Southern Valley of Cusco.
During your excursion, the first tourist attraction we’ll visit is the Archaeological Site of Tipón, also known as the Temple of Water. Here, we’ll admire the irrigation system and agricultural terraces from the Inca period.
We’ll then continue our tour southwards to the Archaeological Site of Pikillaqta, the ancient city of the Wari people. It was a pre-Inca urban, administrative, and religious center, and one of the most important of the Wari culture due to its dimensions.
Finally, we’ll have a visit to the district of Andahuaylillas, where the Church of San Pedro Apóstol de Andahuaylillas is located (known as the Sistine Chapel of America). Built in the 17th century, it houses one of the most beautiful examples of Colonial Art, with golden altars, murals, paintings, and polychrome ceilings.
After the last visit, we’ll return to Cusco, arriving in the city at approximately 3:00 PM.
